Choeur Maha, an ensemble founded in 1991, has performed regularly throughout Montreal. We are known for our support of women's causes, annually performing for the Ecole Polytechnique Anniversary as well as International Women's Day, and often for fundraisers for women's shelters and support groups. We sing in as many languages and styles as possible, including electroacoustic music; from Hildegard von Bingen to Hildegard Westerkamp and from Mozart to Madonna. We also are known for guerrilla performances incorporating technology and social commentary.
