Chord On Blues opened in 1996 as a premier blues club and steak house. For 10 years we featured the best in the blues biz. Every weekend, talent such as KoKo Taylor, Dickie Betts, Elvin Bishop, The Fabulous Thunderbirds and Lonnie Brooks, to name a few, graced our stage and wowed our crowd.

In that decade we recorded 4 live records that enjoy international distribution to this day and produced 2 Blues Festivals. In 2006, Chord On Blues received the ultimate honor, receiving the Blues Foundation's prestigious "Blues Club of the Year" award.

Now ... in 2009 ... we're trying something new! On Fridays and Saturdays we feature the very best live music that Chicago has to offer. From Roots Rock to Jam Bands to Punk and Metal. We'll also throw some DJs and dance nights into this musical gumbo. So ... come and check us out!! Keep an eye on our schedule and stop down for some seriously affordable drink specials like our world famous $1 Domestic Bottle Thursdays. We feature a huge selection of bottled beer. We've got pool tables, dart boards, indoor bag boards, and an awesome outdoor patio.

We're located on the river in beautiful downtown St. Charles and the parking is free! So get off the couch and come on down ... shoot some pool, throw some darts, jump into a bag tournament or ... just put your feet up, grab a frosty beverage and hang out with "The Roadies" ... the friendliest staff this side of the Mighty Miss!
