About Chroma Keyer

Chroma Keyer are a four man metal band hailing from Dundee in sunny Scotland. Many members have come and gone in this band but it has always came down to the four friends in it now to work like it does. With many different influences ranging from thrash metal to pop punk, Chroma Keyer likes to play about with these.
The band formed in late 2003 under the name Purity. We were young and naive so a name change came soon later, to the present Chroma Keyer. We started out playing Slipknot/Mudvayne covers for something to do but reaslised that band life could possibly stretch a little further. It was then that we quickly wrote Derogatory.
Some time later we made the Reawakening EP with James Stanhope taking up a second guitar slot. This didn't last too long and he left the band under commitment issues. A few members later and we realised we worked best as four, and here we are.
