Hello Todd,...just got 'GRINGO' about a week ago and we're diggin' into it...so far I like "EVERY MOMENT FLAME ON" & "HOT WATER WINE",...I also like "YELLOW CLOUD",that would make a nice companion piece to go along with "THE OTHER HEART/BENDING SEA" from 'FIVE'...very nice...-Eddie O./G.S.F.
Today I received Gringo on long-playing 33 1/3 rpm vinyl. The postman was shaking as he handed over the package, muttering something about ‘everlasting Sunday Paris fleamarket’, and to be careful fooling around with such forces, as 1 second = 40 years.
Cheerfully, I placed the album on my vintage turntable and turned it up to window rattling volume. I saw him dive into his truck and then simply disappear into a yellow cloud of dust that vanished when the wind blew. Is that standard delivery procedure?
No matter – this is the Circus Devils masterpiece.
