Regular brotha from a small hood in Louisiana with an ability to put words together with style, substance, swagger, and meaning. Been doing this for about 13 + years cuz we been flowin underneath the trees since we were lil shawties around here. I always wanted to be somebody and i felt it would be basketball or rapping. Like most young brothas I never had any aspirations of becoming a pneurosurgeon or anything of that nature. I went to college 4 a minute and that just wasnt for me. All I wanted to do was play ball but they didnt have tryouts because the roster was full. Also other issues kept me from pursuing my education. Eventually I felt I was just wastin my time, (thats how I felt in my mind.....and damn kanye shoulda never made college dropout, lol) So after that I was at a crossroads, looking for work with hardly any success. Feeling down on my luck I decided to be all I could be and signed up for the army. I was a month away from goin to basic training before I caught my head and literally told them "fuck ya'll I aint goin." Then during one of my dead end jobs I was visited by my family to tell me my sister had passed away from cancer she had been sick since she was 2 and passed away at 10. That was like a switch in my head it stuck in my head that u have to pursue what u want while your here because tomorrow isn't promised. Instead of just settling for somethin I figure was gonna make everybody else happy I looked for my calling. Since I was small I always wrote poems and music but I never thought I would actually pursue it but as I grew older I fell in love more and more with the music. Then I was by my homie crib when we found a program to record with on the home PC. At that moment I knew it wasn't gonna be a hobby I really hit the creative process hard tryin to better myself as an MC and make the best music I could possibly do by myself. Over the past couple years I been grindin, killin notebooks makin songs by da tons, basically workin on my craft....literally hundreds of songs i've written and recorded addin more to the collection almost daily. I'm just trying to showcase my talents to a larger medium and hopefully people who hear it will be impressed and take a liking to the music I make. The area I'm from a brotha can fall victim to the crab syndrome, but I'ma keep climbin and doin my thing and hopefully it's gonna pay off. To everybody who tells me stop doing this music cuz it's not gonna take you anywhere and your not gonna make it, THANKS!!!! I use everything as motivation. To the ones who say I'm proud of what you doin keep doin ya thing, honestly you don't know how much it means to me for real. I appreciate that more than you'll ever know. Things like that make me keep going cuz there's times when even my confidence wavers.With all that said if your positive I love ya and if your negative I love ya too cuz ya'll motivate me to keep goin and prove doubters wrong.
