Clare has that special talent of being able to blend being a unique singer with an excellent ability to chat to an audience using sharp wit. Clare could be described as a cross between Ella Fitzgerald and Victoria Wood..... Clare is also a radio presenter with 2 regular shows on radio 2. She is an established song writer and has been compared to Cole Porter. Over the last few years Clare has performed in Jazz Clubs, Festivals, with the BBC Big Band, on television with Parkinson, on RTE's The LateLate Show, ITV's This Morning and The Alan Titchmarsh Show and on BBC 2's Culture Show. Clare has also been voted Jazz singer of the year twice. In January Clare presented a series on Radio 2 profiling 1930s singer ..Al Bowlly.. and in May she played tribute to a collection of the world's greatest female jazz performers called ..Jazz Divas... If further evidence of her multi-faceted talents were needed, Clare also has a weekly lifestyle column in the Yorkshire Post.
