    Boston-based Clarias is a five-piece rock band whose unique sound has garnered praise from music enthusiasts, critics and industry professionals alike. Armed with their successful 2009 release Days of the Getaway, a highly successful tour of Japan, and enough energy and charm to win prom king, the group is storming stages--from dingy basement clubs to sweeping amphitheaters and imposing stadiums--with a singular goal: take no prisoners. With airplay on major AAA radio stations, college stations, Satellite Radio and top Boston radio station WBMX Mix 98.5FM, it’s easy to understand why “Boston’s Best Band” has performed with acts as diverse as Mutemath, of Montreal, Lupe Fiasco, Girl Talk, 30 Seconds to Mars, Bon Jovi, Nickleback, Barenaked Ladies, Kanye West, and Jimmy Buffet. During the summer of 2010, the band reconvened in the studio to capture some of their new work, entrusting production duties to their lead guitarist, Paul Erik Lipp. The result is the haunting, ambitious "The 2197 EP," consisting of 3 new songs that will provide at least 15 minutes and 38 seconds of pure aural delight. This short collection of music will both soothe the senses and stimulate the mind; it should raise questions and provide answers just the same. It is delivered to you courtesy of the way things should be, and in honor of your good taste.
