  • Bio

"This is Clay Statues...from Cardiff...there's only two of them, but they make a hell of a racket..." - Adam Walton - BBC Radio Wales..... "An almighty, sweaty explosion of dance, punk and gut wrenching passion, with more testosterone than a barrel of bull's bollocks" - Jason - Tantrum Records.... "How a bassist and a drummer can slam a sound so massive from a twosome is beyond belief, and these guys can write a lyric too...These boys deserve support and recognition..." - Phil Dred, Photographer.... "Never before have we seen an act with so much originality, anger, melody and noise mixed into one big formula..." - Plugged In Magazine.... "Absolutely mesmerising...a wonderful musical beast, full of energy" - Nettie.... Through an ingenious blend of quirky drum beats, infectious bass lines, clever lyrics, distortion, bass chords, gaffa tape and throwing things around they have created a truly colossal sound. I would highly recommend going to see them live at any opportunity you get, and if you can’t afford a ticket, then sell one of your kidneys, I guarantee it will be worth it. - Valley Cat Press.... 1st EP, 'When I Was Your Age Pluto Was Still A Planet' is sold out..... New EP "Yay, Volcano!" now sold out!.... *update* "Yay, Volcano! V.2" with 3 new tracks and a reworked cover released August 1st. Available now!! Click the button below... Doctor McCoy might have said on listening to Clay Statues latest EP, “It’s drum and bass, Jim, but not as we know it.” With Holmes on Bass and Adkins on percussion.. Amidst the anarchy they manage to fuse powerful rock beats with grungily distorted bass lines to create a wall of sound that many a more populated band would die for. Yay, Volcano! showcases their song writing prowess to good effect.. if they can keep their musical and lyrical sensibilities intact they can face the future with little to fear. - Miniature Music Press.

Hi, we’re a residential recording studio in Spain and charge £750 for 5 days in the studio with 6 nights’ accommodation for up to 6 people. Shorter / longer stays  and recording / holiday deals also available.

We will be putting our prices up on 30th September so anyone thinking of coming here in 2011 should book before that date to get the lower price.

Hi there, enjoyed your Lampeter set very much. I spoke to the bassist about similarities with Phil Lynott of Thin Lizzy.
I would like to purchase both releases you mentioned - one physical cd and one download only.
Could you reply to this message please.
    Thanks.
    Yours ROCKingly
