Il sound dei Clepsydra generato da Fabio Di Gialluca voce..chitarra,
Phil De Rubeis voce..basso, Danilo Ricci batteria, si forma nel 2002
con in prima formazione Alessandro Petraccia al basso. Attingono parte
delle loro produzioni al filone rock psichedelico di fine anni sessanta
inizi settanta rievocando sonorita' e dilatazioni live tipicamente di
quei tempi.Nel corso degli anni sfornano due demo
autoprodotte,"Controlling the breath of the dog" nel 2005 e "Foam" nel
2006, collezionando numerose esibizioni live nei circuiti alternativi
italiani.
Dalle bozze sonore riarrangiate da interminabili cambi di
struttura e modellate nel corso dei live vengono selezionati i brani
che nel Febbraio 2007 formeranno
"Second era of Stonehenge"
l'album
d'esordio della band, su M.P. RECORDS, avvalendosi della distribuzione
internazionale G.T. MUSIC DISTRIBUTIONS. Prodotto dallo stesso Fabio Di
Gialluca con Vannuccio Zanella l’album viaggia sotto le aspettative
sonore intraprese alternando ai passaggi hard vitage di "The passer by"
e “Heros' goodbye” gli spunti psichedelici di “Egg flip”,”I saw Syd flyng” e “Foam”, quest’ultima scelta come singolo per la produzione del
videoclip a cura del regista romano Andrea Bucchioni. L’album si
conclude con la suite lisergica “Stonehenge 00:37”, punto di
riferimento di tutto il lavoro, avvalendosi della collaborazione al
Memorymoog del “David di Donatello” per le colonne sonore di Fabio Liberatori.
In uscita sul finire del 2007 il video del terzo singolo
estratto dall'album, "The passer by" affiancato dall'omonimo videoclip
diretto da Peter Ranalli e Matteo Simone.
Phil De Rubeis lascerà la band a novembre 2007,sarà sostituito da Luca
Trifoni,collaboratore della band già in passato. La band sta attualmente
lavorando al nuovo album che avrà il risvolto del
"Concept".
BIOGRAPHY
The Clepsydra sound generated by Fabio Di Gialluca voice, guitar, Phil De
Rubeis voice..bass, Danilo Ricci drum, took form in 2002 with
Alessandro Petraccia at the bass. They get part of their productions
from the psychedelic rock of the late ‘60s - first of ‘70s, recalling
sonorities and live dilations of that time. During the years, they
issued two auto-produced demo “Controlling the breath of the dog” in
2005 and “Foam” in 2006, collecting many live performances in the
alternative Italian circuits.
From the sound proofs rearranged with
endless changes of structure and moulding during the live performances,
they selected the songs which, in February 2007, will form
“Second era
of Stonehenge”
, the first album of the band, on M.P. Records, with
international distribution G.T. MUSIC DISTRIBUTIONS. Produced by Fabio
Di Gialluca with Vannuccio Zanella, the album comes up to the
expectations given, alternating between the hard vitage passages of
“Yhe passer by” and “Heros'goodbye” and the psychedelic sound of “Egg
flip”, “I saw Sid flying” and “Foam”, the last one chosen as hit for
the video clip production directed by Andrea Bucchioni. The album
terminates with the lysergic suite “Stonehenge 00:37”, point of
reference of the entire work, in collaboration with the memorymoog of
the “David di Donatello” for the sound tracks Fabio Liberatori.
At the
end of 2007, has been issued the third hit from the album “The passer
by” together with the video clip of the same title directed by Peter
Ranalli and Matteo Simone.Phil De Rubeis is leaving the band in
november 2007; he will be replaced by Luca Trifoni, who has already
collaborated with the band in the past.

Il progetto "GET ELECTRIFIED" nasce nell'estate 2008 dall'incontro di alcuni dei componenti tra le crew più rappresentative della scena underground italiana degli ultimi anni. "GET ELECTRIFIED" nasce con l'intento di far rivivere in città ambienti e sonorità underground riscoprendo la passione per il "clubbing". il progetto punta ad offrire una serie di appuntamenti nei vari locali cittadini, partendo da firenze, con l'apporto di vari ospiti internazionali della scena ELECTRO( electrofunk, techno, breakbeat, house....) Già le prime serate GET ELECTRIFIED hanno portato come ospiti nomi illustri come Midilink, Blatta & Inesha, David Green, dj LowKey . Caratteristiche delle serate saranno inoltre giochi di colore elettrizzanti e video proiezioni a tema.
