Coming to us at what feels like a breaking point in humanity, God Has A Voice, She Speaks Through Me intends to act as a hopeful light and a reminder of simple joys. With a springtime dance-floor sound, CocoRosie narrates a suicide story that takes place in a tender and elated moment of innocence, focusing on releasing and returning to Mother Nature.
CocoRosie's fascination with combining things that clash continues to drive their process in both song and production. Their current creative environments range from hi-fi studios to simple field recordings (i.e. dolphin and whale sounds). Some inspirations to their hearts at the moment are Cher, Beethoven and finding true love's kiss.
CocoRosie is currently working on the follow up to their last full-length, The Adventures Of Ghosthorse & Stillborn, slated for release in 2009. This new work will continue in the vein of God Has A Voice..., exploring spiritual dance music, driven by oceanic and apocalyptic themes.
Until then, the girls will continue their endless summer journey, one that has taken them to beach side studios around the world, where folk musicians from Madagascar and Reunion Island gathered to lend their hands in creating the future lives of CocoRosie.

LaFinKa ONG is mainly an association that helps homeless people (specially families) in Barcelona.
We organize events almost every week here in Barcelona, and once a month we organize a big multicultural events where we usually bring some international Dj's from different places and mix them with local collectives. That can be in Barcelona, London, Rome or Lisbon.
Our aim is to create stronger networks and build platforms for the artists to showcase their work across the world. We try to work with as many artists and musicians as possible and integrate new people to the scene whenever possible.
Our events are also a mix of different arts and music styles in one place, and we use these events mainly to raise founds for different social and cultural projects.
We usually have Psy, Trance, Teckno, D&B and other alternative music and live acts in our events. We aim to create spaces for people to come and be able to see and ear different styles of music and arts spread around different spaces therefore having more people being introduced to other sounds and arts that they may not be familiar with.
LaFinKa is always looking to work with new artists as well as new volunteers to help with our projects.
