Damn, y'all. I tried to make it to Brainwash last night because upon reading the announcement, i imagined it'd be the ish. Alas, life happened yesterday and i couldn't make it out there but now i see y'all are due in NY on the 5th? Doing anything else in the Bay before you jet out or are you already gone? I'd be able to see you guys tonight if you're performing again. I am already inspired and i'm seeking more so i'm tryna catch a live performance soon. Hope all is well. ~Maia
Dust! Alameda, where i stay, has seriously lacked in having open mic spaces available for the creative performers and artists here. but this coming Thursday there will be a space at Spritzers Cafe on Central Ave. from 6-9pm. I wanna invite you folx to come through and drop some of you illest or whatever you see fittest! I don't need any warning :) Just show up and let me know you've arrived. This is kinda like an open mic in the sense it's whoever shows up, but you have to be invited - you have a standing invite to come perform any first Thur you can make it. Everyone usually does 2 pieces each but prepare 3 just in case. So far I've been able to get up everyone who's showed - as the show grows that's going to be harder to do and there will be some who don't make it up - that being said it's your first time and you're coming a long way so I'll be sure you get on. Any more q's let me know.
