Perhaps you're simply curious; you can preview our entire album at New Music Canada, the CBC radio 3 site, (plus there are a lot of other fantastic bands on there to check out as well)! My latest internet fascination is centered around Last FM. You can hear the entire album on our page on Last FM too! Go on, have a listen, I really don't think you'll be disappointed!
We're currently working on a new EP titled Disagreements. It's taking a little longer than expected to finish because we've decided to start over on a lot of the recordings. They weren't sounding the way we wanted, so it's been erase and recreate. We've got the firs two songs done now: "Decay" and Fat Kids Big Cars" and we're almost done our next song called "Back in Style." After that it's just the recording of our last song "Please" but we've got to arrange a big party first so we can record the backing vocals in teh appropriate atmosphere! That shouldn't be too hard to do I hope! All things look to be done by August, then we shall share them all with you and hopefully you'll dig it!

Our song Blue Kitchen off our debut album is now the theme to the television series About a Girl; we're rather proud of that! Not too sure what the future of this series will be, but it was cool to hear our song on national television every week. Maybe they'll pick it up in Hungary or Bolivia and we'll have a second season!
Combine the Victorious is an indie pop group fronted by Isabelle Dunlop and Mark Henning. The band was born in the spring of 2005 when Isabelle challenged Mark to create music of their own. Music that would fill a void in their record collections: something to dance to, sing along to, basically the kind of record you'd put on at a party and leave on until it ended, then maybe start it over again.

Our debut album, "The World Over" was written and recorded over a span of just more than a year and a half. We began in the summer of 2005, more as an experiment to see if we could write together. The first song we created, Blue Kitchen has gone on to be a theme song for a television series (About a Girl) as well as being licensed on another show (Whistler) and considered for a Toyota ad campaign. Not bad for the first try. The songs on The World Over represent everything we desired out of music during those many months: fun, emotion, dancing, singing, big drums, moody pianos, lots of tambourines, loud guitars and ethereal sounds all mixed together. Personal favorites include King’s Cross, The Hours, and Embrace, but we’ve had positive responses to all the tracks: thanks everyone. If you’d like to buy a copy we still have some with the original packaging and we’d be delighted to send you one. Click HERE to go to our homepage. Or, if you prefer, it is available online at the music store as well as several other streaming sites and online stores. We both hope you enjoy it.
We are now in the finishing stretch with our follow up ep: Disagreements. The songs have taken a turn towards slightly darker tones and more club friendly sounds. Songs such as Fat Kids Big Cars represent the direction we’re taking for these five songs. Smaller production, tighter and more concise parts, and a certain disgruntled vibe to the lyrics. Disagreements is scheduled for release on Boutique Empire later this year.
"Back In Style"
Your wooden floors all seem so cold
tonight.
And you realize that that's become normal.
You pick up the phone and start to dial
again.
Those first seven numbers are as far
as you ever make it.
You seemed so much to me
did I seem much to you?
The person you claimed to be
was never in what you'd do.
Your starting to count up all the days
Since you have heard from me
And notice your inbox never says,
"hello."
'Cause honesty's coming back in style:
Hello, hello, hello.
And maybe you're lonely now because
you were never worth it.
You seemed so much to me
did I seem much to you?
The person you claimed to be
was never in what you'd do.
And given the way you feel
the shame is all on you.
I think it is time to reveal
the person you fear is true
truly you
truly You
Truly You.
And now you know the saddest thing
you'll see.
is to look in the mirror and always be

Hey Mark, great to hear from ya and thanks for the friendship on this profile. I enjoy IAC. I'm a Lifetime Member so I don't have any dues to pay monthly, so the site is very useful to me. Sorry you don't like the navigation.
Things are going well here. Just went live with this new Profile and have been adding friends from all my networked profiles. Still alot to do but will handle it a day at a time.
I hope all is well up there. It's been hotter than haiti's down here in Mississippi.
