..Corpse Grinder was formed in 1987 and the first members were Rômulo(drums), Renato(guitar) and Junior(bass/vocals). The band name comes from a Massacre song and this american band is one of your main influences. After recording 2 rehearsals tapes in 1988 and 1989, Renato left the band and to complete the line up, was called the bass player Flávio, the vocalist Júnior changed to guitar and with Rômulo on the drums the band recorded in April 1990 the first demo “Necropsy”. In next years was recorded the demos “Peace?”(1991), “Sick Entrails of Humanity”(1992) and “Corpse Grinder”(1994). In 1995 the band recorded 4 songs to the 3 way cd “Death or Glory vol 2” and the other bands were Blessed and Scrupulous. This stuff was released by Heavy Metal Rock Records only in August 1996. In July 1995, the guitar player Humberto was called to be the fourth member and he played in the first show to divulge this 3 way cd. In January 1998 was recorded “Necrorealism” the first demo with 4 members. In January 1999 the band recorded an alive demo with the name “Live Tape 99”with Evandro on the drums. This drummer played only in this demo and after he left and Rômulo returned to the band. In January 2001 Corpse Grinder released the first album by Destroyer Records and the chosen name was “Persistence”. In October 2003 the band recorded the second album “Celebration of Hate”released by Kill Again Records and in the final of this same year recorded an alive demo cd with the name “Underground Celebration Live 2003”. In 2005, Humberto left and only in August 2006 the guitar player Hélio “Bonegrinder” comes to the band and in next year the band release the third album “Hail to Death Metal Legion”, released in June 2007 by Kill Again Records. Still in 2007, Corpse Grinder was completing 20 years old and with the support from Kill Again Records, release in 2009 the double stuff (dvd/cd) “20 Years Grinding Corpses”. In the dvd has shows, clips, pictures and discography and in the cd has new records of songs from old stuffs and 2 covers from Death and Massacre. Nowadays the band has a new drummer, your name is Kleber that is playing with very fury and helping the Old Death Metal fire continues burning...
