Since he first took the stage at the beginning of this century, Cory Baxter has become a rising star in the stand-up comedy scene. After starting out in basements and dive bars, Cory went on to make a name for himself by winning several comedy contests through out the mid-west, and winning the respect of comedy fans nationwide.
Now a regular face at the Columbus Funny Bone, Cory has also performed in comedy clubs from Wiley’s in Dayton, OH all the way to Stand Up New York with names from Vince Morris, Sean Rouse, and George Caleodis to Doug Stanhope, Brad Trackman and Auggie Smith. He also boast rock acts like Green Jelly, The Independents, The Murder Junkies and The Queers. Cory’s geeky, blue, rock ’n’ roll, style will take you from comic books to meth labs, from serving hard time to feeding babies. His unpretentious, full on assault of comedy will leave you simultaneously laughing out loud and shaking your head.
