The founding members of Crescendo Rising met about 4 years ago when members John, Eoin, and Andy were lead-singerless and in need of a jump-start to get their wee aul band going. Adam Whyte responded to their audition and despite a rocky start, it was clear from the second month forward that the band had chemistry and were developing an intriguing direction.
The first months were slow as each of the members were immersed in college work, the band could not find a suitable band name, and Crescendo Rising's songs contained gaping holes that only a lead guitarist could fill. Coinciding with the arrival of Dave "Skunkboy" Woods into the band, the bluesy/ alternative/ grunge/ hardrock mesh was born and the band thrust itself into the Dublin underground rock scene.
Crescendo Rising wrote songs quickly and as the covers diminished and old tracks grew out of favour, the band's new-age Blue-Rock sound was born and gigs were being played with raving reviews. Thanks to everyone for the continuing support.
