   About Dan Plus Add

Dan Plus Add

Oh traveller of the great Intertubes, you are in luck, for you have stumbled upon the page of Dan Plus Add. Dan Plus Add writes, records, produces, and occasionally explodes his own music. He is probably best described as 'juvenile,' 'weird' and 'freaking awesome.' His style of music is quite geeky, a bit rocky and a bit acoustic at times.

Matters of Great Importance

My new album, Matters of Great Importance has been released. It can be found here for download or purchase on CD, or the 128kbps MP3 version for free. Available now! Matters of Great Importance album Cover I'm so excited to release this. Thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout its production and everyone who downloads or buys it, I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed recording it! To help keep you updated, I've started a mailing list, which you can sign up to here:

Some things that REAL people have said

Mattgcn: "your accent is ADORABLE"

MisterB: "Weilding a guitar like Gordan Freeman wields a crowbar, Sheffield based songster provides the soundtrack to our geeky hearts."

Hannah:

Dan's music makes me
Plus one- thanks a whole lot for
Adding me, buddy.

(it's an awesome haiku!)

In 2008 I will be playing at a festival in West Yorkshire called Nerdapalooza, a festival of "Fantastic Music, celebrating a love of counter culture, geeky culture, in exciting, interesting, and awesome different ways!"

Woohoo!

Hey man, how goes it?

What sort of gig hunt are you on? I've been organising a few acoustic nights, hopefully going to expand them further, which might make some space... Would you be interested should such an event happen?

Y'know I'd never actually heard your music before now. Thanks for the add, I feel like it's 2009 and I may have missed the myspace boat.

Hey, sorry for my tardiness in repyling. It would appear that Open Space isn't on this week.
Guess it makes sense if people are going home for Christmas!

Nov 30 2008 1:44 AM

I've just been playing my banjo and my guitar lately. I'm going to try and record some music before christmas for my dad but we'll see how that goes. I'm always kind of busy.
I still want to cover your music too :D
Ian Griffiths

Nov 28 2008 5:19 PM

Yeah I know what you mean. To think, they want us to do work...

And as for Open Space, I have (somehow) ended up as president-elect, so after christmas will be heading up proceedings... So I will be there, if not necesarily to play, all the time..!

Take care

Ummm
There was this world trade game on a residential thing I went on and I happened to be Iraq. But I kept forgetting names so I just called everyone by country so I had to be Iraq.

Some people keep thinking it's some sort of political outcry.

It's not.

And the image is lovely as well as obligatory :)

Yeah! Anything that unites people who hate EA's opening game credits should be celebrated! Anyway, if music doesn't work out for you it looks like to have a promising career as a news reader ahead of you.
