.. .... Formed By ..Marc "Dark".. in 1998 as a studio-based Drum'n'Bass/Breaks recording project, ..Jimmy D.. joined in 2000 bringing with him an extra level of percussive flair. Shortly afterwards, Darkstate began to expand their sound, working with an array of vocalists and recording their first promo album "Product" (2001)..... For the next four years the band kept their heads down. Working tough in the studio, developing their skills and their sound, solidifying their line-up and completely self-producing another two albums - ...."Supply and Demand" (2002).... and ...."Reboot" (2004)......... With interest growing in their music, Darkstate decided to take the bold step and translate their complex studio sound into an exciting live show with no compromises. Their fourth studio album ...."Perception is Everything".... was released to great acclaim in 2006, providing yet more fuel for the fire burning within the band!.... Best described as a fusion of Drum'n'Bass, Funky Breaks and Soulful Downtempo, the years of hard work are beginning to pay off... Darkstate's fifth record, .."Aural.Play.Sure".. is imminent... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .... .. .. .. .. .. ..

.. Formed By Marc "Dark" in 1998 as a studio-based Drum'n'Bass/Breaks recording project, Jimmy D joined in 2000 bringing with him an extra level of percussive flair.
