Ex-Trip Hazard frontman (see myspace/triphazardinc) Dave Conway, releases his debut solo album, Highs and Hellos, aided and abetted by a Trippie or two, as well as a chorus of fine musicians, including Q, Aidan Pierce, Robbie Stanley, Andrew Bass and Dave Horner, to name just, well 5 actually.
Recorded as a Tuesday Night Music Club kinda project, none of the musicians heard any of the songs before being locked into the recording room to play their little hearts out. And what a job they did; the album being as fine a rock outing as has been heard in recent years.
It will be released in Ireland in July, and a night of celebration in Whelans on July 9th, with an international release date tbc.
The Dave Conway Band features Robbie Stanley on Bass and Jean-Philippe Morer on Drums; as well as the Dublin date, there will be a small nationwide tour as well as dates in London and Paris. Stay tuned! INDUSTRY: For further information on Dave contact Christine at kubicmusicpromotions@gmail.com; for live bookings contact JP at the Isotope Agency jphisotope@gmail.com
CD's are available mail order from theracketeers. com From April the album will be out in record shops in Germany on Cannery Row Records and by then it will also be available digitally from the usual outlets such as iTunes, Amazon etc...

Marie Junior
Marie Junior
Marie Junior started her life in the glitter of the music business working for Andrea Corr; she was her housemaid (bucket and mop!)
Her father John Hughes manages The Corrs.
Approximately six years ago she announced to her father her desire to be a singer - he ignored her…..
First lesson in the music business: Nobody wants you!
For some months she persisted and eventually he asked
“Why do you want to sing?”
“It makes me feel good” came her reply
“Right answer” she was on her way, but all would not be roses.
Her debut album was recorded but never released; her label in effect dropped her.
Considering her father owned the label we get an insight into the dark corridors of the music industry…..
Second lesson in the music business: Really nobody wants you!
With a little time and a lot of persistence Marie Junior has got a second chance, her album is due for release later this year. The first single is a pop classic from the 70’s called “Quick Joey Small” - it’s a jailbreak story and Marie Junior intends to run for her freedom into the arms of success
“Run Junior Run”
