A true guitar virtuoso, Dave's radical techniques and mesmerising sounds captivate fans and fellow musicians alike. Dave won the very first 'Guitarist of the Year' competition, run by the highly respected magazine 'Guitarist', whose editors were the first to recognize Dave as one of the most extraordinary talents to emerge from the UK.

Since then Dave has performed with a veritable "who's who" of rock and roll superstars. He recently spent over two years globetrotting with Roger Waters performing lead guitar and vocal duties on the record breaking 'Dark Side of the Moon' tour . During that period, Dave also recorded and released his acclaimed solo rock album 'Scarlet', the follow up to his very successful classical album 'Playing With Fire'.

Prior to his involvement with Roger Waters Dave toured Europe and the US with Emerson, Lake and Palmer's legendary keyboardist Keith Emerson (who credits Dave with inspiring him to tour again). The Keith Emerson band also featured the fabulous Phil Williams on bass, and drummer extraordinaire Pete Riley, both of whom were featured on 'Scarlet'.

In early 2009 Dave recorded and performed with Asia's hit songwriting and performing duo John Wetton and Geoff Downes in the Wetton-Downes project 'ICon 3', and more recently Dave has been touring Europe with fellow guitarist (and winner of the second 'Guitarist Of The Year' competition) Guthie Govan, promoting his wonderful album 'Erotic Cakes'.

Dave is currently collaborating with vocalist Murray Hockridge, whose soulful voice has been compared to Prince, Sting, and Stevie Wonder... They recently recorded a highly anticipated album together using just two voices and two acoustic guitars, which should be available just before Christmas.
