  • Bio

Dave Storm is familiar to house music fans not only in his native country Estonia, but thanks to his production, all over the world. He has performed all over the Europe - Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Ukraine, Russia, Baltic States, Scandinavia, and the UK. Ibiza superclubs Pacha & Space to venues in deep Russia. Now he's a bi-monthly resident at Defected Record's "In The House" events at Privè in Tallinn. Dave has recently moved to Spain, he lives in Barcelona. Dave runs a radio show called "Cabrio" every Friday at 15.00 at SSRadioUK and Sunday at 21.00 on Ibiza Global Radio. His dj mixes has been played by many radio stations all over the world. Dave likes to play a wide selection of house music starting with deep and soulful, ending with tribal, tech or proggy house depending on the size of the venue and the mood of the crowd. His sets include atmospheric synths and pads, deep chords, sexy vocals, strong rhythms but still manages to remain funky. Producers like Jimpster, Francois Dubois, Rocco, Spirit Catcher, Shur-I-Kan, Dennis Ferrer, Charles Webster, Roberto Rodriguez, Wahoo, Stan Kolev always find a space in Dave's playlists. Check out his chart for his current favourites! In 1999 Dave started to produce his own music. Thanks to his musical background the first ever production received attention from various A & R Directors and was finally picked up by Champion Records in UK. Since then Dave has had a large number of releases and remixes on such labels as Seamless, Refunkt, Sole, Urbana, Stereo and Erick Morillo's Subliminal Soul. He has been remixing Chus & Ceballos, Paulo Rocha, Simon Grey, Joey Musaphia and co-produced with Rocco, Dj Pippi, David Penn and Spin Science. His production has been supported and charted by many famous dj-s like Frankie Knuckles, Dj Chus, Pippi, Josh Wink, Ben Watt, Funk D'Void, Spirit Catcher, Danny Rampling, Bob Jones, etc. In 2004 Dave set up his record company Ceremony Records with the sister label Cabrio. In four years the artist roster has been growing, two labels has been releasing tracks and remixes from Da Funk, Paulo Rocha, Spin Science, Simon Grey, David Penn, Rocco, Spiritchaser, Jon Silva etc. The year 2009 looks interesting as Dave has set his debut album to be released. Featuring artists like Celeda, Ragga Twins, Brian Lucas, etc. There will be couple of pre-releases like "Dancetrap" that will show direction of the album. More info coming soon, hold tight!
