So check out this latest story from swingland: we had a day off yesterday in Fukuoka, and last night I went to check out this little jazz club called the Trombone Club. When I arrived the place was empty save the staff, but after a few minutes who should walk in but three guys from the Basie Band, who are also in town playing a show nearby. Soon enough a bunch more of our guys showed up and we had a big old jam session. What are the odds, eh?!?
