Bio:
.. ....
On October 16, 2009, musician/artist David Turpin released "Haunted!", his supernaturally-themed second album. s first record, "The Sweet Used-To-Be", was among the most critically acclaimed Irish débuts of 2008. On October 16, 2009, he will release his second album, the supernaturally-themed "Haunted!"
David started the album at home, continued it in a secluded cottage in rural Carlow with Derek Dodd, and finished it with Stephen Shannon in his rather more urbane studio. Conor O’Brien of Villagers plays guitar on four songs and sings on a fifth. Cathy Davey sings on one song. Cora Venus Lunny plays violin and viola on seven songs. The lovely Carla Amelia Gallagher provides backing vocals, and the hounds of hell also make an appearance. All the songs touch, to a greater or lesser degree, on spooks, spectres, and transfiguration.
Songs from "Haunted!" may be heard manifesting themselves on David's MySpace music player.
