Plying pasta from the Texas dirt is the mission of Houston's Death Valley (sic, Death Valley was from Austin, Tx), not named for the California desert, but for a mythical place where dinosaurs roam, plundering Italian cowboys gone mad. Their sound is influenced by the spaghetti western themes of Enio Morricone, and merged with their own Texas roots. It's amply warped with surfisms, and rodeo roughriders. This is a solid CD.

The Psycho band has spent many hours talking and arguing over bands. Death Valley was always regarded as one of Austin's greatest bands. We loved you guys. I remember Sweetie Pie Steve and I pleading with Tim to go see you like we were a pair of 14 year old girls. Yeah, you guys had a lockdown on something truly great and we're fans.
