PLEASE HELP!!!!! MY SHEP/MALAMUTE HAS OSTEOSARCOMA... BONE CANCER!!!!! PLEASE PURCHASE MY SONGS OR DVD AS ALL PROCEEDS GO TO THE CARE OF MY PRECIOUS GIRL!
Update: My beautiful girl lost her battle with this freaking cancer. Your patronage is still appreciated as the vet bills and her cancer care along with Trouble's cancer care was very high... I thank you for your help.
I'd like to describe the songs listed here for you to listen to.
"Sheba, You're My Best Friend" is about my beautiful German Shepherd, Sheba, who fought courageously against the incurable spinal cord disease degenerative myelopathy.
I wrote "Dear Mommy" imagining how Sheba would ask me to let her go when it was time to set her free.
"Sheba's Background Music" was done with my Cordoba classical guitar and is heard on the video "Caring For A Handicapped Pet: A Holistic Approach".
"Just A Little Baby" is my interpretation of the birth of Jesus Christ.
"My Frenzy" is an example of my heavy metal rock guitar playing.
"Little Bit Of Jazz" is a jazz song I made for the video "Boating Upon The Three Rivers".
PITTSBURGH-Deborah Kazsimer has developed a new video designed to help owners deal with the care and treatment of handicapped pets. The video includes a wide range of treatments including special nutrition diets, acupuncture, magnetic therapy, and infrared light. The holistic pet treatments were inspired by Kazsimer's paralyzed German Shepherd dog "Sheba." Sheba suffered from the incurable spinal cord disease degenerative myelopathy. The dog's condition inspired Kazsimer to seek alternative medical solutions to her pet's distress.
She recently lost another one of her dogs to DM. Her shep/lab, Jerry Lee, battled courageously until it was an issue of "quality of life". Enabling Jerry Lee to have a peaceful death was the last gift she could give him.
Sadly to say, her shepherd/husky, Trouble, developed osteosarcoma (bone cancer) at the site of the metal implant from his TPLO surgery. He had to have his leg amputated to alleviate pain. This type of cancer is extremely aggressive. It metastasized to Trouble's vertebrae in his spine. Medical and holistic doctors could do nothing for him at this stage. She was forced to let him go to end his suffering. God bless all dogs stricken with these incurable diseases and those special humans who care for them. You can read more about her dogs at www.specialneedsdogsmusicandmore.blogspot.com.
Caring for special needs pets, especially with incurable diseases, is very expensive. High vet bills, prescriptions, supplements, therapy, tests, proper nutrition, x-rays, MRIs, surgeries, wheelchairs, etc, etc, can contribute much debt to the caregiver. Please be supportive and understanding of them.
When she's not helping to educate people on wellness and care for companion animals, Deborah writes songs and has performed for a variety of events including weddings, private parties, restaurants, nursing homes, children's events, campgrounds, festivals and more. Her style of music consists of rock, easy listening, country, classical, and instrumentals as well. Some of her original instrumental songs are featured in the upcoming Pittsburgh Boating video, "Boating Upon The Three Rivers" copyright 2007 by Advanced Visuals.
She often sings with fellow musician, Tom Pipak, who is a vocalist/guitarist. They have an entertaining duo act that is enjoyable to listen to. Deborah also plays the keyboard in addition to the guitar, which she uses for a variety of events, including wedding receptions, dinners, luncheons, etc. She and Tom are an awesome duo with very reasonable rates.
I'm so sorry, Debbie, I can't even imagine how hard that is - I would be devastated too, and completely heartbroken. Please give Fly lots of kisses and hugs from me. :( You are in my thoughts and prayers, of course. I'm so sorry you have to go through this. :( Alli

Deborah, I am so sorry for your loss. I know how you must hurt. Tonight is my last night with our Daisy. She is our 3 legged Dalmatian who is 15. She has cancer, and it's just gotten the best of her. She gave us the 'look' today, and I am just going to miss her so much. My heart is breaking. Love and thank you for sharing, tonight especially. It's a God thing. devon
