Banda de Death Metal brasileira criada em 2003

O Decried iniciou sua carreira em 2003, na cidade de Mauá – São Paulo/Brasil, sob o nome de Violent Impact. Não levou muito tempo para que a banda começasse a tocar em diversos shows regionais, mas foi só em 2005 que a primeiro demo, entitulada Ashes to the Lord, foi lançada.
Após mudar seu nome para Decried, a banda continuou na estrada divulgando as canções da demo supracitada, e diversas outras que nunca foram gravadas, por mais de um ano até o meio de 2006, quando aparentemente havia chegado ao fim da linha com a saída de 2 membros.
A demo seguinte, que teria sido lançada naquele mesmo ano, teve de ser em muito adiada até o presente momento em virtude de problemas na formação. O título escolhido, Only Hate Saves, reflete o sentimento dos membros da banda com relação ao fanatismo religioso e ao mecanismo de controle arquitetado sob o aspecto inofensivo da “fé”.

Decried started their career in 2003, in the city of Mauá - São Paulo/ Brazil, under the name of Violent Impact. It didn’t take long for the band to start playing at a number of regional concerts, but it was only in 2005 that the first demo, entitled Ashes to the Lord, was released.
After changing its name to Decried, the band continued on the road divulging the songs of the aforementioned demo, and several others that were never recorded, for more than a year until mid 2006, when it seemed to have reached the end of the line with the leave of 2 members.
The follow-up demo, supposed to have been released in that same year, had to be long-delayed until the present moment due to line-up issues. The title chosen, Only Hate Saves, reflects the band members’ feelings towards religious fanaticism and the control mechanism devised under the guiltless guise of “faith”.
