Demolished was born in June 2005. At the time, Benny quit the band he was drumming in. He wanted to form a death-metal band and he asked Marnic (Slaughtervein R.I.P) to take on bass and vocals in order to become the frontman of the band. Together they held auditions with numerous guitarists until Peter (Absynthium R.I.P, Chronarch) recommended a guy from the grim and gloomy necropolis Peer. Word was this dude had done music academy for a few years. After the meet and greet, Lowie (Nidhogg Ivaldir) was a full member of the band. The search for a second guitar player ended the very next rehearsal when Lowie introduced Raymond (ex-Crawlspace). Fate made him get drunk with Lowie, go to the rehearsal and stick around. "Hybrid" was born. But the line-up was broken in less than a year... Marnic decided to leave the band...
Wasting no time, Jochen (Nidhogg Ivaldir , Absynthium , Natan) joined the ranks to take on both vocals and bass. During this time "Hybrid" was re-baptised into "Demolished". They decided to give the vocals an extra dimension by adding a singer. Jeroen (Nidhogg Ivaldir) grunted his way in... For a considerable short time "Demolished" had a full line-up until Jochen made the choice to quit the ranks. "Demolished" was left as an armed nuke radiating violence and aggression at various shows, without a bassplayer though. Basically this problem was waiting to be solved and in 2008 Jelle stormed the gates carrying his bass as a bloody axe, ready to get messy. Mid 2009 Benny decides to leave. A replacement was found very short after (July 2009), with Sander blasting his way in.
"Demolished" developed their style that many describe as Oldschool (Pounding) Death Metal. And with a full line-up there will be more violence and aggression on stage then ever before!!

Put together the first music video for one of the songs, that being for the song "Eel Marsh House", which is based on the movie "The Woman In Black". Wasn't sure to name it that instead of 'Eel Marsh..." ...Eel Marsh House being where the woman in black 'lived', and now haunts it. Though, she seems to haunt the general area of the village as well as the House. If anyone catches her gaze, looks into her eyes....a child will die, usually from the family of the person unfortunate to look at her. As you see what happens to the story's main character at the end.
