Signs Of Darkness

Bio:

Signs of Darkness stands for: MELODIC BLACK-METAL and this since 1994. The lyrical concept is a rebellion against the human way of living these day's!!!

In early 1995 a demo was recorded: "IN MORPHEUS ARMS" and contained 5 black metal tracks. It was the first assault against the flock and the followers of weakness.

The demo "ODES TO OUR BRUMAL KINGDOM" was recorded in september 1996. The keyboard parts on that tape were played by members of Infernal Beauty (RIP).

In 1998 3 songs were recorded: "The last shivering Moon... beyond the autumn leaves", "Start in the Nocturnal Sky are like a Thousand Screams in the Ruined Rosegarden" and "Embraced by dreams". This 3-track tape was called "SOLEMN TEARS". With these 3 tapes SIGNS OF DARKNESS got the attention of a new Belgian record label called the LSP-company and recorded the debutalbum "BEYOND THE AUTUMN LEAVES".

With this album they ended the storyline of a great warrior who fought for respect, honour and pride. Those albums where the foundation of a lyrical concept that still can be found in the songs up until these days: rebellion against the human way of living these days!

In february 2005 the band signed a deal with TRINITY RECORDS HK and "THE 17th FLOOR". This second full lenght album was released worldwide.

In november 2007 they've recorded the 3rd full lenght album entitled "THE FALL OF AMEN" and signed a new deal with Shiver records in may 2009. The Album was released officially in october 2009.

After this release W. and R., two founding members left the band. JS (Natan/Nidhogg Ivaldir) is the replacement on guitar and O (Nidhogg Ivaldir/Celebrant) on drums.
