Gabe: vocals and guitar,
Jimmy "The Inch": saxaphone,
Chrisdgiin Le Dieph: bass,
Paget: drums.
Gabe was raised in France, where he first began his musical journey. He began the classical guitar at age 9, and picked up the electric a couple years after that. He was influenced by many styles of music, for he traveled much of the world before settling in France. He moved to California in 1998 and joined a funk band, Groove Juicy, but as his sister, Mimi, followed a year later, the two met up with a local bassist and started working on their own sound and material.
After quite some time of routinely practicing in a public studio in Santa Rosa, Paget, originally from Belize and who had been playing a few doors down in multiple reggae bands such as Massif, Dub Masta, decided to join. The band continues to evolve with the addition of Jimmy "The Inch", hornblower extrodinare, in 2005. Most recently Chrisdgiin le Dieph was recruted to hold down the low end on electric bass. The band has expanded to more popular venues, making crowds soar to the original and motivating music.

Gin, as most of us know it, is a strong colorless alcohol flavored with juniper berries. Another less widespread meaning of the word djinn is a mischievous spirit, often confined to a bottle due to reprehensible acts. Dgiin is better known around Sonoma County as a band with a unique style encompassing various cultures and influences and songs sung mainly in French. The band originated 6 years ago in Santa Rosa and is often described as French-Gypsy-Funk with a twist.
Dgiin has performed in electric settings all over Sonoma county and has traveled to Santa Cruz and Arizona, collaborating with other musicians along the way. Dgiin also performs in accoustic settings in smaller venues, parties and weddings.
With band members' past experience in pop, reggae, funk, jazz and punk, Dgiin puts on one memorable show accessible to all types of tastes and ages. Their energetic performances draw a lively crowd, with Jimmy the Inch wailing like a banshee on sax, Chrisdgiin laying down irresistible grooves on bass, Paget kicking out an infectious rhythm, while Gabe's husky voice and smooth rifts keep everything together, All to create one hot sweet show. Not to be Missed!!!
