Over a decade ago, on oppisite sides of the country these two started a journey that lead them to the ends of the earth and back. Discovering Sound Scapes at every turn, developing talent and skills that would one day become of great use. J.Moore & D.Golden met in 2002 and since then have completed several works of art, some debuting on vinyl or acetate for the masses all over the world, others only inspiring the minds of the local scene and One offs'. However, it has "truly" been a rough road, for it takes so much for it to work, heads to nod, hair to stand on ends at the sounds of the drop. But these guys have overcome and are finally making thier voices heard. The Future is now, and Dioptrics will play a significant role in the coarse of drum'n'bass history as we know it. J. & D. were made, programmed, and built to peform to be a part of this epic form of creation, and fufillment we call DRUM'N'BASS....

Out now on Dark audio recordings.............. MARUKOMU - FRAGMENTS Marukomu rolls out in typical style with a clean cut amen and atmospheric stabs and tweeks bringing it in his indelible old school roll out style as only he can.At the drop the the bass takes away your soul and the track takes you on a mission with bobbing stabs and intricate edits ,rolling out the dancefloor into a frenzy. One word SICKNESS
MARUKOMU - MODULE On the flip maru takes it deep with stark atmos and bass stabs leading up to intricate drumlines and pads reminicent of the 90's early dnb sound warping stabs lead you up to the drop when the track takes you to another level, it will destroy any dancefloor that has the pleasure of the marukomu sound.bigness

Wooohaaaaa!!! Braindrop is throwing its very first boat party on Saturday 6 June.
The vessel is specially equipped to hold large groups of people (and all the extra bass bins we can squeeze on). Her name is The Dutch Master and she be a mighty fine boat too!
It's going to be a ridiculously fun rinse up. However, if you think you can get away with being remotely serious and/or cool at this party - ye be mistaken. The Braindrop Boat Rave is fancy dress: Pirate's from the 80's. Arrgh...better get thinkin what ye gonna wear.
D&B / DUBSTEP / TECHNO / BREAKS / ELECTRO / HARDCORE / HIP HOP / GABBA / BREAKCORE / PSYTRANCE / RAVE... and lots more!
The boat will leave St.Katharines Pier (London) at 9pm and return at 2am. Tickets are £20 and you can get them from TICKETWEB.
