Had some education by playing in late 80’s/early 90’s cult-garage-fuzzers THE EMBRYONICS, the well known JET BUMPERS and the still amazing garage surfin’ compadres THE CAVE 4. Coming from the incredible high action capital-city of all rock’n’roller’s dream towns called Solingen it’s not hard to write songs that matter. Jenz does that. Songs about girls, money, local dance halls, the alltime search for drummers, sex and his possession about time machines. And the Dirtshakes got the secret formula to combine a) totally artistic genius, b) incredible entertaining talents and c) good taste. It’s also well appreciated they prefere vintage equipment.
