The Dirty Royals are an action-packed celebration of the life-affirming power of rock and roll. A head-on collision between classic British Pop and gritty Punk on the Pacific Coast Highway. Where Beach Boys harmonies are grazed by the guitars of The Clash and are shattered into shards of surprisingly beautiful new-wave debris.
The Dirty Royals are the band you desperately want at your next party. The rock band you can take home to mum. The scuzzy indie stars your kid sister can pin up on her bedroom wall.
The Dirty Royals are also testament to the passionate relationship between The United Kingdom and The United States. The Dirty Royals are a truly international affair.
Formed in late 2005 in California, The Dirty Royals are a four-piece band, featuring the distinctive song-writing talents of UK resident, Simon Williams, alongside the powerhouse percussive skills of Los Angeles-based drummer, Keith Tenenbaum, and the vocal harmonies of Matt Williams and Jimmy Martin. The 5,000 mile distance is no obstacle to the band’s single-minded musical vision and The Dirty Royals regularly perform and record on both sides of the Atlantic to an ever-growing army of fans; the ultimate long-distance relationship.
The Dirty Royals track 'You And I Can Take On The World' appears exclusively on the latest International Pop Overthrow Los Angeles compilation album and is available now on Not Lame Records!

Just to let you know that you are featured in one of my Liverpool IPO internet radio programmes on MikeLive. The shows regularly play in rotation, so if you’ve missed one it won’t be too long before it’s repeated. Happy Listening! www.mikelive.co.uk
Saw you at Liverpool IPO this weekend and really enjoyed the energy of your shows. Loved the feedback solos, the unexpected sweet harmonies, and was particularly wowed by the drumming. However, having seen from the 'general notes' section above that it is part of your repertoire I am disappointed there was no nudity.
