    Divided We Drown – Biography Founded in February 2009 Divided We Drown hit the ARR-Studios the same year to record their debut EP „Through Agony and Despair", which was released April 10th 2010. With their mix of Death- and Thrash-Metal they did not only impress their ever-growing group of devoted fans, but also surprise renowned reviewers. As a result of that, their songs were being played on several local radio stations meanwhile they hit the stages, most noticeably together with Maroon (GER), After The Burial (US), Kontrust (AT) or .sPout (AT). After former vocalist Felix Uitz left the band in the beginning of 2011, Divided We Drown was able to find a more than worthy successor with Chris Brenner just a few months later. Presenting a whole new live-set Divided We Drown was able to pass through two preliminary rounds to play in the Austrian Wacken Metal Battle finals. Following it up with their first gig in Graz with The Black Dahlia Murder (US) and Protest the Hero (US) they presented their new vocalist to a broad audience in their state of origin! After playing some more shows with bands such as Neaera, Der Weg einer Freiheit or Debauchery we went back to the studio to record a 2-song promotion EP to provide a clear outlook on which path DIVIDED WE DROWN is about to take with its music.
