DJ Couz began his nationwide professional career by participating in "Funkmaster Flex Japan Tour" in July 2001 and "Beatnuts Japan Tour" in October 2001. He released Mix CDs after the tours, and the hit of those mix CDs lead DJ Couz to be a household name in Japan.
Those Mix CDs, the "Westside Ridin'" series and the "Jack Move" series which use famous US artists' Drops, Freestyles, and those artists' exclusive songs became must-have items among West Coast hip hop fans not only in Japan but also in the U.S.
In addition, as "Home Boy from Japan", DJ Couz often makes guest appearances on the morning show "Big Boy's Neighborhood" hosted by Big Boy, the No.1 on-air talent on LA's most popular "Power 106" radio station.
