As a global traveler who’s hitch-hiked, bicycled and train-hopped some six continents and 37 countries, DJ Dragonfly is Northern California’s most sought after purveyor of cutting edge global electronica. Bay Area dance enthusiasts place him in the top 10 percentile at the DJ polls for his unique sound: A trans-tempo fusion of exotic idioms, rhythms, melodies and indigenous voices. Bump this up with live electronic percussion, layer it over dub, hard downtempo, drum n bass, funky breaks, house and you have the perfect tone for dance floor mayhem. Using bass as the navigator he sets his decks on a course that weave its way from Gibraltar to the Ganges and beyond. In its wake the mix is a global shakedown that leaves no continent unturned in search of the perfect groove!
