Let's spin a bit about myself,

Born in 71, music got me in 76 with a french artist named: Claude françois. I was only 5 years old and already feeling the music with songs like:
"Je vais à Rio"
"Magnolias for ever"
"Alexandrie, Alexandra"
just to name his best hits... This amazing singer/compositor has been a such "futurist" artist... Today people are still dancing and singing on his tunes (he was like the "white" Barry White.)
We are in 77-79, and hell it's the Golden age of the Disco! Since that time I got a crazy addiction to this sound. Amazing Divas like Jocelyn Brown, Sisters Sledge, Chic, ... with awesome sounds on the bass, and for me, the best bassist/compositor ever is: Mr Nile Rodgers.
Since those Funky days I'm still addicted to this "disco sound", and today I own more than 2.000 Original LP's.
In beginning of the 80's, musicians started to create melodies with electronic sound in them and artists like New Order, Simple Mind, Depeche Mode...were ruling on it, but lyrics were not that lovely like the disco ones (in fact it was too "Punky" for me).
I had to wait the last 5 years of the 80's to finally discover this great remixer called: Stock Aitken Waterman, he remixed Kylie Minogue, Rick Astley, Whitney Houston,... The sound was back and I could feel the vibe again. Dance Music was born!
At the end of the 80's a "new sound" arrived too, and we still dance on it today: House Music. It has been developed from those sounds of artists like "New Order, Jean Michel Jarre,...", with hard beat in it. I was just wondering myself "Where the hell are the lyrics?". But anyway it's true, I was dancing on these beats in disco too. I had to wait till 98 to feel again the power of the music with Daft Punk who brought us an incredible new sound. They inspired so many artists, a new age was on it's way. Another dj/Producer/Remixer who influenced me was Bob Sinclar with the remixes of Cerrone.
Since that time, Im addicted to Vocal House Music and today, I mainly spin tunes like HedKandi "Disco Heaven" style. You can see on your left, under my picture, the styles I'm mixing.
