DJ Rav Takhar burst onto the scene in the summer of 2007 and joined up quickly with the runaway success story that is Digital Society Leeds as Resident DJ and Promoter. With a reputation of delivering the freshest finest driving Trance around and having a presence behind the decks of the highest calibre, Rav has become a real crowd favourite in the peak time stakes. After already having gigs alongside some of the biggest names in todays scene, such as Paul Van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, Rank1, Kyau & Albert, Menno de Jong, Matt Hardwick, Solarstone, Guiseppe Ottaviani, John O'Callaghan, Simon Patterson, Sean Tyas, Greg Downey, John Askew and a host of others.
Rav hosts his own online radio show exclusively on Afterhours.Fm which gets broadcast every fourth Thursday 1600 – 1700 (GMT), 1700 – 1800 (EST) and 2300 – 0000 (CET) showcasing the best in Trance and Progressive.
Production-wise, Rav has been studying “Music and Sound Engineering” at the Sheffield College of Music in an effort to obtain his own sound. He is currently in the studio working material which is eagerly anticipated to achieve success.
