Our band DOGMA INC. was founded in may 2001. The base of our band was made by Erik Balogh (drums) and Ján /wanzi/ Beke (guitar) . Our musical tendency wasn't really clear the time, but we know, that we wanted to play a fast, aggressive and quirky music. We wanted a girl for a vocalist. And we choose one. In august 2001 Jana Décsiová become our singer. She used to sing with a punk rock band (Sociálny Útlak, Bez Identity). Robert "kuna" Zsille took the post of our bass guitar player in September 2001. Dogma members have been working in many bands, and they?d played many styles, (punks, industrial, thrash, HC, grind core) combination of these styles is implied in our music.
After year composing and performing (first concert ? October 2001) on a various movements, (Obscene Extreme 2002 and etc.) at that point in time (February 2003) we made our first demo called /Authority/ . Demo contains 11 tracks + songs /Last Day/, which was recorded in April 2002, compilation CD from festival OE 2002 include that song too. Our friend Zoltán Szarka made his quest appearance (guitar solo) on title song ?Cruel System?. In a present time we are working on promotion, we are performing and we are also looking for a potential publisher.
Bio September 2007-09-12
... When our record “Authority” came out, we started to work on a support for this album, we addressed labels, zins, promoters. We had been having an intensive concert tourney; we also tried to play outside of Slovakia. The new songs are made a short time after our record “Authority”. We had been thinking for some time, to using the next guitar in our compositions, but in that time, we are not very engaged for it, reason is, that we didn’t know appropriate guitarist from surroundings.
Later that year, in October 2005, we got some reference from our friends, and we asked Alexa Sucháčka, (ex-quitarist bands Dementor, Nostrum, Nomen Mortis), to join our band. Our compositions have got a new dimension by his influence, and as a man, we are very fond of him.
We had some excellent concerts, and after them, we have been noticing that our singer Jana, has being apathy to our band. We had a feeling that she doesn’t like doing the music with us. It’s became a true and she left our band. She decided to try a new life in abroad. When she left, we tried some others girls for compensation, but we found out that it is impossible to find an adequate replacement, this was the reason why Kuna started to sing, he already had some songs with Jana, so he had some experience with singing.
In August 2006, our drummer gets the job opportunity and he is leaving for abroad for half a year. Almost in the same time, Alex has changed his job and because of the working pressure he has decided to leave our band in February 2007
In that time we had finished seven new pieces for our album “Before and After”. When Erik came back, the band began practicing intensively and we started prepare stuff for our new album. Till recording we had finished three other pieces. When Alex left our band, we immediately addressed Petra Lipovského. He is playing his first concert with us in Jun 2007, and in July 2007 he is recording the album “Before And” After with us.
In the recent time we are working on a support for our new album and we are looking for some potential publisher.
