Yeah, we've been talking about the upcoming Volcanics CD too, which is due out sometime this fall, but heck, we thought we'd throw a curveball your way.....

The Penetrators - Declassified DVD
The long awaited DVD from The Penetrators entitled "Declassified" is available for purchase on line at www.penetrators.com and www.doublecrownrecords.com. "Declassified" features 15 live performances in addition to the video for "Redlined" shot by Paul Mayne and a new video for "The Southern Surf Syndicate Theme" and more! The retail price has been set at $14.95 plus shipping. The DVD was released on May 13, 2008.
It's the second full-length release by The Madeira, a band that plays surf music born of screaming wind over the sand dunes of the Sahara Desert. This disc contains eleven lush, intricate surf instrumentals along with two covers (including "SOS (Stomp On Stomp)" by The Atlantics). Double Crown Records got it's start in late 1996 as Continental Records in Bellingham, WA. After a few releases by The Penetrators, The Boss Martians and The Del-Vamps it was discovered that there are several other labels called Continental, so the name was changed to Double Crown. From that point on we've released 3-5 CD's/7"s per year and have a total of about 30 releases. Over the years we have also put out a fanzine called The Continental Magazine, which has 36-48 pages and a 20-30 track CD sampler.
In 2005 we have released CD's by The Hellbenders, Rat Holic, Dr. Frankenstein, Bonney & Buzz and The Madeira, along with issue ..12 of The Continental (featuring interviews with Satan's Pilgrims and The Beat Tornados).
In 2006 we released a CD-EP by The Madeira, and will soon be reissuing Seasonal Favorites, Volume One. There was also a new issue of The Continental Magazine, featuring Southern Culture On The Skids and The Barbary Coasters.
In 2007 we released a CD by The Surfites (a Euro band featuring members of The Daytonas) called "Big Pounder", The Buckle Busters - S/T CD and Seasonal Favorites, Volume 2.
In 2008 we released new CD's by Bonney & Buzz, The Madeira, The Surfites, Frankie & The Poolboys, King Of Hawaii and The Concussions. We have also put out a DVD by The Madeira and Continental Magazine 15 w/CD.
In 2009 we released a CD by The Mobsmen called "Scelerats Syndicate" and Continental Magazine 16 w/CD.
