Inspiration comes from everywhere, but specific credit is given to the jam band community, our friends, fans, and families, and our experiences/travels in the US. We have all taken an interest in music by: Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers Band, Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, The Band, Dave Matthews, The Beatles, Sublime, Johnny Cash, Widespread Panic, Muddy Waters, Jimi Hendrix, Blues Traveler, Phish, R. L. Burnside, Moe., O.A.R, and many, many more.....
WELCOME to the official Dova Grove myspace page! Formed as a quiet project in 2005, Dova Grove's unique flavor of "Memphis Rock & Jam" has continued to spread and excite music-lovers across the region. Stemming from their recent touring, DG's Memphis Rock & Jam has earned the esteem of the music industry, noted by opportunities to perform with fantastic touring acts. They have shared the stage with bands such as Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk, Eric McFadden Trio, Tishamingo, The Nadas, Burnside Exploration, The Heartless Bastards, Kenny Brown, and Saving Able. DG frequents both premier and underground venues in Memphis and the region (KY, MO, IA, AR, LA, MS, TN, AL, CO, IL, WI, MN). Thanks for your enthusiasm, spread the word to friends, and rock yo' ass off!

We are proud to announce that after MUCH hard work and effort, The Sheriffs of Nottingham will be releasing our debut CD, "Hard Places: The EP" on Saturday, November 14th.
