Sup Sup y’all, time for a bit of an update. We started the year off going into the studio with Tony Buchman (Andy Bull, Kid Confucious, Blue King Brown). We laid 5 new songs which will go towards the new album due out later this year. We hope to get you a taste of these soon. Tony is a legend and really pushed our performance in the studio, we learnt a whole lot and had heaps of fun too. We reckon it’s a step up from our first album ‘Styles’.
Then it was off to Brasil to follow up on the tour we did there last year. We toured with a really cool 10 piece reggae band called Humani (check em out in our friends upstairs), needless to say the tour bus was a blast….”Jah live”. Thanks a million to the crew from Freesurf and Auckland surfboards who helped us out with boards and transport. We have a couple tunes on the latest Freesurf vid “breaking the rights” and we’ll be releasing an exlusive Dubbly mix cd through then next summer. We made some really good friends and look to go back bigger and better later this year.
For now we plan to keep on plugging away at the gigs locally, so keep on checking back here for gig dates. We’ll be back in the studio over the coming months to finish the album. We hope to get back O.S before the end of the year and we will definitely have a couple clips for the next album. We are working on a new website and we might even get some new photo’s up on this ol puppy here……..we cant do it all at once….thanks for your support and we’ll see you on the road.

“Mixing roots, rock and reggae, Dubbly have the crowd bouncing and smiling as they radiate good vibes and chilled-out rhythms. This Sydney collective come highly recommended and they don’t disappoint. Lead singer/guitarist Nieko is clearly enjoying himself and voices his appreciation to the receptive crowd” – Faster louder (Open Arms Festival)
"They're the hottest band in Brazil right now (seriously) and are getting played on a bunch of radio stations around town" - Drum Media
“Dubbly have been receiving solid support from prominent radio stations and have been branded the ‘one to watch’. They will have the chance to show off their polished live show and other tricks they have learned across South America” – The Brag
