Seismology and Geology as well as some meteorology and archeology and mineralogy. I also enjoy studying volcanoes although i don't hardly consider myself a volconologist as well as tsunamis and nair a tsunamiologist, either.
Music
I will enter my song here later... it's called "Earthquake, You Make The Ground Shake" to the tune of "Wild Thing"
Movies
"Earthquake" is one very good movie, but the recent one about the Sumatra tsunami was very good, too, and i also really enjoyed the one called something like "10" where that really big earthquake struck and swallowed that Amtrak train!!!
Television
There are some very good videos about earhtuqkas including one staring one of my favorite guys from The California Earthquake Prediction Evaluation Council, Rich Eisner... it is an old Judy Woodruff PBS special "Frontline" and I also just got an old movie about the Whittier Earthquake of like 1987 via worldcat. it's called "Earthquake: Disaster in L.A. Whittier Narrows Quake of October 1, 1987"
Books
My book "How To Predict Earthquakes" that i wrote so that everybody could be able to read everything that i learned while studying earthquakes and then be able to go on and predict them yourselves!!! This book is still currently being reviewed for publication at several major publishing houses out in California.
About me: (This first video will expire soon after the end of September 2008, Thank-You!!!) (I tend to not get around to removing expired ones)
NOW MY BIO!!!!!
I’ve been tracking potential seismic activity for more than 10 years now. In about the year 2003 I came up with the idea to use a globe since many times I was being forced to figure out how seismic energy might travel like over the north or south poles and with even a small globe like I bought at a store for 99 cents, I have become much more highly accurate at tracking what I believe to be potential seismic activity that results after major hurricanes or typhoons strike landfall, as well as when there are major tornadoes or tropical cyclones as well as some tropical storms, too. Generally I look for wind speeds around 90 or 100 miles per hour and I like to use the amount of damage as an indicator although more and more I think the high winds just blowing are the cause and the amount of damage are just more proof that the winds were high, blowing on trees without breaking them off and uprooting them might still shake the tectonic plate and ultimately transmit the energy on to the next major fault line where it will then shake! Then, the bigger the windstorm… the bigger I will expect the earthquake to be, such as the Islamabad earthquake followed Hurricane Katrina by 43 days. Hurricane Hugo preceded the World Series quake and one of the biggest Super typhoons of all time Supertyphoon Nanmadol preceded the great Sumatra earthquake and tsunami of 2004.
I send out my EQ Alert via E-Mail to a group of guys who are primarily seismology and media type people and am now creating this Earthquake Alert Myspace for all of my friends especially out on like the West Coast so that they can also now receive my latest alerts perhaps I’m thinking via the bulletin system!!!
I have everything written all out into a book I call, “How To Predict Earthquakes” and it is presently being read (in outline and sample chapters form, 2 complete manuscripts) out at about 8 publishers with many being in S.F. and L.A. (This is now outdated and these publisher have probably thrown all my stuff away!!!)
Finally some of my written material as well as copies of my “Official Predictions” which I have filed several of over the years with California Earthquake Prediction Evaluation Council (CEPEC) these can be found on my Greatest Journal at www.greatestjournal.com username “earthquakealert” and Thank-You ahead of time for whatever you can do to help in the future to Alert The People whenever there might be seismic energy heading for them!!!
Here's one of my best clips from my You Tube at "earthquakealert"

Stopping by to say hello and say thanks. Have you ever had one of those weeks that life likes to challenge you at every turn? Well this has been one of them for me. Computer decided to act the something from the terminator series and did not like human interaction and it was like life was saying slow down and focus.
So lets slow down and focus. Do you believe that we attract what we focus on? If so what have you been focusing on things you want or are you putting a lot of thought into stuff you don't want to have. Just by being more aware of what we spend our time thinking about can show us where we are heading at times. Of course you could just say we have to live in this world that the media has created for you and you have to experience everyone's pain that you see and be that martar. I am a little more selfish I guess because I like experiencing everyones joy instead. Nice thing about life is you have a choice so it is up to you.
Hey best myspace friend forever, I hope you have the greatest birthday in the history of birthdays... And yes it is true I made all of my videos on my profile as gifts for your birthday, so please enjoy...
