Here are the list of movies I can watch over and over again:
Thomas Crowne Affair (Steve Mcqueen's Original movie),
Breakfast at Tiffany,
Blade Runner,
Memento,
Requiem for a Dream,
Big Chill,
Cassablanca,
American Graffitti,
Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid,
Sting
Television
C'mon...seriously...who wants to watch TV, when we can read a book? Okay people... Don't you think the internet has replaced it for us? I really do believe that television was invented by Aliens. and those little creatures from Mars, to keep the human race from achieving our full potential. TV has desensitized the world to violence; fostered short attention spans and sedentary lifestyle. It also causes brain atrophy activity. Oookay, enough said....Anyway, here are my recent choices:
30 Rocks,
MI5,
NCIS,
La Femme Nikita,
Arrested Development,
The Mentalist,
SNL,
Nowhere Man (That was the best show ever),
TV has not been the same since Johnny Carson... died.
Books
Too many to name..... Books are so much a part of my life, I can't imagine what it would be like without them. Through them we are able to experience worlds, places, times and imagine we would never otherwise know or see. They are immortal, these bits of ink and paper - the words of persons far away or long dead can touch us through them. No wonder the art of writing has, for so long, been associated with magic. Some of my favorite writers are:
CS Lewis,
Douglas Adams,
Stephen King,
Francesca Lia Block,
Carl Hiaasen, Roald Dahl and
Jon Clinch, author of Finn: A Novel
Heroes
All the 'Firefighters' who voluntered during 9-11
and all the Katrina Hurricane volunteers. They are all the heroes!!!!!

About me:
To date I have published the first novel in my YA series: Wireless in the Fabric of Time. It was released in January 2007, and can be ordered through Amazon, and Barnes & Noble.
Wireless.... is a story about a young man's life becoming derailed by forces beyond his control.
My protagonist, Von Muir Carmichael, has high expectations and a great plan, but life has something else in store for him. He is a college student riding the wave of wireless technology.
Von doesn't remember life before electronic devices. His wireless reality is as natural to him as the shoes on his feet.
He sees the wireless world as his lifeline. Even as he sleeps, he stays connected, with his Bluetooth headset device attached to his ear.
Being awakened by late-night text or IM's is the expected norm. When Von doesn't have access to his electronics, he feels cut off from the internet; the only world he knows.
Von is a symbolic of young adults that are channeled into society with high expectation only to find that lives can still be dictated by circumstances.
"Wireless: Life Doesn’t Rewind Across the Universe" will be the second part in the series, and should be available in book stores sometime in December 2009.
While working on my novels, I started a series of blogs. First, “Totally YA,” focuses on all things young adults, another, “Up Close & Personal,” is an ongoing conversation with authors and others from various genres, and the third, “A View Form the Top,” attempts to offer insight into agents’ and publishers’ points of view. The response to the blogs has been exciting and encouraging. It seems readers enjoy an open conversation with authors, agents and publishers of all ages, in which the blogger’s voice takes a back seat. The free expression that results has been enlightening to me as well, and as it happens has expanded my interests to fiction.
Goodbye Bling-Bling, Hel--looo, Jailbird! will be my first attempt at non-fiction. The plot is based on a true story, and is a classic tale of one man’s lust for the American dream. It is my first book written to the adult audience, but the life lessons will not be lost on young adults. Look for a January 2010 release.
There is still one unpublished novel entitled, Rice Paper World, that predates my new books. In it a woman in her nineties tells the love story of a Pacific Island girl to her grand daughter. The story is about the unrequited love of a young girl for a much older military hero, Admiral George Dewey, set around the time of the battle of Manila Bay in 1898.
I am currently working on more titles for 2010. Check in on my sites from time to time to find the latest news on my work, as well as the thoughts and comments of writers and others, who are shaping the literary landscape.
NOTE:
Make believe stories is a child’s game. In adults, make believe is a sign of schizophrenia. But.... if you’re a writer, it’s called “a work of fiction” which is an imaginative form of narrative represented in a book.
Intellectual readers, writers, college students, gamers, young wizards, caffeine junkies, literary snobs and a whole slew of people who might not fit those categories who loves sci-fi and YA books.
