The Electric Rays are an Anglo-Greek Alternative Rock / Garage band formed in Patras, a port city 150 miles west of Athens, Greece, in February 2009. Original singer Christina Morphopoulou left the band in January 2011, and Nina Karamolegou joined on vocals in March. Electric Rays are currently booking gigs for June - July 2011 in Greece, and working on material for studio recording. After that, they will take over the world. The band draw from a wide range of influences including 60s garage and psychedelia, 70s punk and New Wave, 90s American alternative rock and modern Indie music. They started playing live in November 2009 and are currently working on new material for the studio and organizing gigs for March / April 2011 in Greece. Electric Rays are: Brian Haughton - Guitar, Theo Ioannides - Bass, Elias Fakiris - Drums.
