Elephant Pixel (a.k.a. Dilo) is a musician, producer and dj. He was born in La Plata, Argentina, in 1979.
High up among Buenos Aires skyscrapers, he produces and creates music for his various projects from within his laptop home studio.
Elephant Pixel's music is mostly described as a blend of IDM, Indie/Post Rock, Indietronica, Clicks and Cuts, Glitch, Abstract Hip Hop, among other genres.
In 2002, incarnated as the duo Lapse, he produced the album Elephant Dreams.
In 2003 he started, along with Bruno De Vicenti, the label and project group Zensible Rec.
In 2005 creates his own label Igloo. (www.igloo-rec.com.ar).
After releasing 2 EP's ("Treffen Sich" and "My baby is a robot"), during december his first Elephant Pixel's full lenght album ("Folk, Lisergia, Computers") was released in CD.
In 2006 along with his folks imi and Zooey, created the band Monotax, a project to experiment with rock, pop, hip hop, funk & electronica.
In 2009 his 2nd. album "Estrellita" was released by the danish label Lo Mid High Unlmtd, featuring a remix by Bruno Pronsato.
