My son, Dylan, had a malignant brain tumor removed in July 2007. Though he beat that cancer and a stroke suffered during surgery, he is currently battling a relapse in his spine.

I normally spend my time helping this little site you're on with their advertising in one way or another (and no, I can't help you get your band signed, or lose weight, or meet babes, or Tom, or Rupert, for that matter (yes, MySpace is owned by Fox, i.e. Newscorp). I am among the oldest MySpace employees, though I fool everyone with my boyish looks and childish attitude.

I have worked in online advertising for Fox Interactive Media, the parent company of MySpace, for Netflix, Infoseek and Entertainment Weekly and other Time Inc properties. Here's a humorous take on the ad industry:



I used to develop websites for companies, but I now just maintain a few clients, such as Jack Miles and Catherine Wallace, and take on search engine optimization projects on a freelance basis. I have worked as a radio DJ (with my own show), and as a professional bartender, having trained with the guy who taught Tom Cruise for Cocktail. I came to L.A. for film school (USC), and worked on a couple of interesting projects that never panned out, and am only working on home movies at present. I also do some writing for magazines, volunteer, write dramas and put on film series for my local house of worship, and do some other odds and ends. When I'm not doing those things, I'm hanging with my two boys and their hot mom, Jana (our celebrity name is "Janeric"), who used to be a personal trainer, but now sells Silpada upscale jewelry.

Dutton's bookstore (R.I.P.), Martha's Vineyard, Florence, Sacre Coeur, Notre Dame, Van Gogh Museum, The Louvre, Bruges, Chamonix, Venice, Turtle Bay, Moab, Yosemite, Highland Park, Greenwich (both), Stonehenge, Pompeii, Delphi, London (sometimes), Hollywood (turn left at Albuquerque), Six Flags, Maple Drive, my bed.

More personal?
The perfect meal? A nice, leisurely feast with an intelligent friend on a Saturday afternoon at Pizzicotto in Brentwood. Plan B: peanut butter (Laura Scudder's smooth) & jelly (strawberry, no sugar added) sandwich (on Iron Kids crustless bread) with an ice-cold Diet Dr. Pepper to wash it down.

Even more personal?
I have an IQ of 190, but do stupid things on a daily basis; I'm a wicked-good cook, but am trying to diet; I'm an excellent masseur, but have carpal tunnel syndrome; I'm a phat dancer, but I sweat like a horse (I was born the year of the horse, maybe that's why); and I'm a lover to rival Casanova, but I have a bad back, and, at this age, would rather take a nap. zzzzz :)
