I've had experience leading worship with several bands, but for now it's just me and whoever I grab as a guitarist- usually Zach Benson and/or Josh Adams. Currently I'm doing the coffeeshop scene, solo appearances at churches and other events, and a little worship leading when I get the chance. Other than that, I've been known to jump on the mic occasionally with my very talented friends, like Hightide Blues, Cory Sellers, and OdieMcCool (thanks guys ;)
Influences
I'll throw a few musical influences I can think of out and I'll add as I remember others-- Patsy Cline, Nichole Nordeman, Frank Sinatra, Faith Hill, Carrie Underwood, Bethany Dillon, Sandi Patti, Aretha Franklin, Michael Buble, Shane and Shane, Black Crowes, Martina McBride, Celine Dion, Amy Grant, Elvis Presley, Bonnie Rait, and I'm sure a million others. /// GETTING PERSONAL: I have so many wonderful friends who are always encouraging and supportive, but specific people in my life who have recently inspired/encouraged me to pursue music again would have to include-- GOD (of course, above all), Dr. TR Smith, Alex Nifong (and his incredible lyrics that get a hold of you and just won't let go), Ty Smith, Zach Benson (and his willingness to play for me), Odie, Cory Sellers, Robin Mooty (and our jam times), Carrie Pridemore (and her prayers), my amazing small group gals, and the prodding of Chris Weninegar and Matt Vaughan that never ends. (Thanks guys ;)

UPDATED BIO COMING SOON!!!
I'm a Southern Belle who's had a passion for music all my life. I love people, I love performing, and I love learning more about Christ and seeing the incredible things He continues to do in my life. He has blessed me with the gift of music and the desire to pursue it... so that's the direction I'm headed. I've been singing since I was four, and have done a little bit of every style- Christian, Country, Broadway, Gospel, Pop, Big Band, Classical, and a few other genres as well. I'm a 5 time Superior Rated Classical State Soloist, but that's not really the style I'm going for (though I am available for Classical vocals if needed.)
Other than experience as a singer, I have also done some modeling and dance. I'm currently doing the coffeeshop scene, solo appearances at churches and other events, and looking for new opportunities to sing. I'm in the process of writing, attempting to learn to play guitar, and discussing demo options with a couple of producers. I hope to have something of my own up here for you to listen to soon-- keep checking back!
Hey hon! The new EP is up!! :-) By the way, I don't know if any of it would be useful to Sound of Hope but you're welcome to use whatever you want! Just let me know.
I had no idea you sang.... great voice. Why didn't you sing when we were all at Jerry's house that time in Sepetember? Just curious..or did you and I am dumb and don't remember! Hope you had a fantastic Christmas! Talk to you later..
So, I'm in S.C. and my cousin and all his buddies decide they want to check out your myspace page...I didn't think they were going to shut up about you the rest of the night! " Oh she's so freakin' hot! She loves Jesus! AND she can sing!!!" hahahaha It was hilarious.
Hello all! I just wanted to let everyone know my account apparently got hacked and someone sent out some extremely obscene bulletins and messages! I just wanted to apologize to all of you who got them. I did NOT send them!
Thank you to everyone who messaged me to give me a heads up- I've since changed my password and am praying it doesn't happen again. I appreciate you guys looking out for me!

Hey! How are you my love? I sure hope you are wonderful:) We need to get together one weekend very soon! So how is music? And keep on prayin for open doors with me and our sweet precious homeless people. Love ya lots!
thank you again for your kind words. I'm so glad the story found a place with you. it makes me feel good to know Im on the right path with the blogs. OK as if I need to tell you, but i think you already know what you should do regarding job searching and "putting your music career on the back burner"
Our mind can confuse us at times, but our hearts know the truth. For it is in the heart that we contain the knowledge of everything that is right for us. at any moment we can turn with in for guidance to the next step. Others can remind us what we already know, but they can not give us something we donot already have.
Your dreams are Gods dreams for you. Do them NOW w a full spirit. Or do not do it at all. "Lord give me the courage to live my dreams now"
so thats my two cents regarding putting your dreams on the back burner. But then again, i havnt told you anything you dont already know have I?
good luck. stay motivated. go boldly into your life and mighty forces will come to your aid.

So late night supposition, your voice kicks ass. Anyway I am on leave from July 28 till the 12th of Aug. Iowa/Missouri to Mississippi to Colorado to Georgia. Alright so I am just missing NY and Ca and I almost have the entire US covered but I figure that I should see all that I can.
