When “The Man” murders his brother, pumps heroin into local orphanages, and floods the ghetto with adulterated malt liquor, Black Dynamite (Michael Jai White) is the one hero willing to fight all the way from the blood-soaked city streets to the hallowed halls of the Honky House. A affectionate spoof of—and tribute to—Blaxploitation films of the 1970s, filmed as if it was a lost relic of that prolific era.

Midnight Madness is a weekly Midnight Movie series.
I am "The Matt" in Denver and I host and program this series. I bring you a different movie each week on Friday and Saturday night. I play an eclectic and often varied group of movies each series. Each series lasts two months and plays around the year. I play cult classics, retro eighties films, newer movies that are slowly gaining cult momentum, and many films that may defy such pretentious categorization.
Matt Morris has been hosting this series since fall of 2003. He has had the pleasure of working with Bruce Campbell (MAN WITH A SCREAMING BRAIN), James St. James (PARTY MONSTER), Andrew Currie (FIDO), and Lloyd Kaufman (TOXIC AVENGER) during this time. He continues to make Denver one of the highest attended year-round Midnight Movies Series in the country.
I will be hosting the Midnight Showing during the B-Movie Celebration / Summer TromaDance Film Festival on September 25 & 26 2009.

See movies the way they were meant to be seen on the giant 70 mm screen.
Send me a message of movies you want to see as a Midnight Movie. Use "midnight suggestion" as the subject.
Might I recommend Holy Mountain, apparently a restored print toured the country in 2007 so it should be easy to get your hands on. The movie is mind blowing, and I imagine that on the big screen it might be capable of breaking reality. I mean, just look at this poster:
