" with ragged vocals and swathes of widescreen guitar effects reminiscent of early verve, south yorkshires four-piece Exit Calm have a penchant for all things epic" (Q MAGAZINE)
"You will witness something that leaves you speechless and transfixed." (GIGWISE.COM)
“Unashamedly epic, their effects-laden sound adds a wide-eyed romantic edge that is alluringly easy to lose yourself in.” (THE METRO)
"epic new single from Exit calm - were on our own" - huw stephens - (RADIO 1)
“Bruised indie-rock that builds and builds before spilling over into beauty one minute, and raw aggression the next.” (ROCK SOUND)
“A four-piece whose wall of sound defies classification.” (SANDMAN MAGAZINE)
Hey....You guys just keep getting better. Amazing in Brum...the best yet...easily on a par with V!!!! Please can you make smaller T-shirts next time so I can have one!!!Much love x
after seeing me plaster your posters round the club every bank holiday,my boss from the club took some staff down to see you in notts,he was completely fucking blown away,he couldnt believe the sound you guys have...think his last words were 'wait til i tell the fucking lads about this' :-) hahaha nice one lads,my right ear's still ringing! :-)
We'd just finished our second gig, in the second venue for the evening so apologies for our bassist not being able to remember your name, or anything other than the fact that we'd supported you in Crewe and you were "really cool"!!
It's heartening to see a decent band doing well for a change.
