About Failing Records

Hey every one! So we are now taking submission for Failing Records Volume 6 until September 15th of 2009. Here is all the important info for you: Failing Records, a compilation of Portland music Volume 5 is going to be a compilation of all Portland bands. If you live in Vancover or Beaverton, your cool, but if you live in Eugene or Salem or Seattle you are SOL. If want you can email me here and I'll let you know what's up. Submitting to be on doesn't cost you any money and you can submit as much music as you like. Some people send us one song, other people send us six albums worth of songs. We will listen to it all and if we like it we will put it on the next comp! We sell the comp for $7 all over Portland. None of the bands make any money, but we don't really make any money either, we want to get your music out there in the public's hands. You can't give us any music that is a cover of someone else song and us also can't us a song that has samples that we could be sued for! Send your CD to: Failing Records PO Box 2202 Portland OR 97208 Or you can give them to: Old Town Music On SW 3rd and Ankeny Next to Berbati's Pan, Dante's and up the street from Stumptown Coffee.
