Falk & die Wiese are walking down paths in forests and running up streets in the city in search of rhymes and melodies all the time. This is not about being true to anyone. No sweat, no beards, no truth, no definitions. Question everything! If you want to find words for what this band is about, start at banality and walk in the direction of everyday adventures. They are a bit odd but very entertaining to say the least. Even during sad and sappy times! “Falk” started “Die Wiese” to find a band to play the songs live that he recorded for his debut “Pigeon and Moron”. At the moment there's four of them and they're playing every lovely instrument they can get in their tiny hands. With a piano in their backpack and an organ on their heads Falk & Die Wiese are still in quest of the perfect folk tunes. They released their second album “Appointments” in May 2009. Falk & die Wiese sind auf der Suche nach dem Reim in der Ödnis der Wälder und Städte. Dabei geht es nicht um Echtheit. Kein Blut. Keine Bärte. Es geht auch nicht um Wahrheit. Niemand sieht klar. Alles dunkel. Alles fraglich. Ehestens geht es um die Arbeit an der Banalität, dem Vexier des Alltags. Das ist quälend, - aber ja auch sehr komisch. Krisen inbegriffen. "Falk" gründete 2006 "Die Wiese" um sein zum Großteil im Alleingang eingespieltes Debüt "Pigeon and Moron" auch live vorstellen zu können. Im Frühjahr 2009 veröffentlichte die Band ihr zweites Album "Appointments"; ein drittes ist in Arbeit.
